Daniel Giles Sullivan was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party, and a cabinet minister. He represented the electorate of Avon in the 20th to 28th parliaments (1919 to 1947). He was the Minister of Railways in the First Labour Government from 1935 to 1941. He died in 1947. Wikipedia
