Darrell Dickey was the head coach of the North Texas Mean Green football team from 1998 to 2006. After building a team with an established defense, he coached the Mean Green to 4 straight Sun Belt championships from 2001 to 2004, establishing North Texas as one of the elite programs in the Sun Belt.
