Dat Phan (born January 25, 1975 in Saigon, South Vietnam), is a Vietnamese American stand-up comedian. When he was a child, he, his mother, and nine other of his siblings immigrated to the United States. They suffered financial hardships throughout his childhood. He grew up in the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego, California, then spent his teenage years in Santee, California, a suburb of San Diego.
