David Bryce (1803-1876) was a Scottish architect. Born in Edinburgh, he joined the office of architect William Burn in 1825, aged 22. By 1841, Bryce had risen to be Burn's partner. Burn and Bryce formally dissolved their partnership in 1845, with disputes over the building of St Mary's Church, Dalkeith, Midlothian, for the Duke of Buccleuch (a factor in the split).
