David Carney (born November 30, 1983 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player who currently plays as a right midfielder for Sydney FC in the Hyundai A-League. In 2006 Carney was an integral part of Sydney FC's inaugural A-League championship winning side, attracting the attention of clubs in Germany and Romania.
