David Allen Shapiro (5 March 1959 in Plainview, New York) is an American television screenwriter and producer, best known for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Angel", "Lost" and "24". Fury was a stand-up comic at The Improv and Catch a Rising Star, and founded a comedy theater troupe called Brain Trust.
