David John Smith (May 20, 1907 - 1976) was the third son of William Smith, 2nd Viscount Hambleden and Lady Esther Gore. He was the head of W. H. Smith from 1948 to 1968. He was also Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire from 1959 to 1975.
