David Lister (born 1930, Grimsby, United Kingdom) is an eminent British Origami Historian. He was a founder member of the British Origami Society, writing the constitution and was its president from 1998 - 2002. Lister was educated at a state school in Grimsby, before going to university at Downing College at the University of Cambridge where he gained a degree in law. After this Lister's professional career was spent as a solicitor in Grimsby, but he is now retired. Wikipedia
