David Murdoch (born April 17 1978 in Dumfries) is a Scottish curler from Lockerbie. Murdoch and his team of Ewan MacDonald, Warwick Smith, Euan Byers and Peter Smith were the 2006 World Curling Champions. Murdoch is a two time World Junior Curling Champion - in 1995, as an alternate for Tom Brewster, Jr., and in 1996 as a lead for James Dryburgh.
