David Swing (August 23, 1830 - October 3, 1894), United States clergyman, was born of Alsatian stock in Cincinnati, Ohio. He spent most of his boyhood on a farm and earned his schooling. He graduated from Miami University in 1852, a classmate and fraternity brother of Benjamin Harrison.
