David M. Weisbart (January 21, 1915 - July 21, 1967) was an American film editor and producer A native of Los Angeles, California, David Weisbart began working in the film industry in 1942 as an editor. Between then an 1951 he was involved with the editing of twenty films during which time he was nominated for an Academy Award for Film Editing for his work on the 1948 film, "Johnny Belinda".
