Dawn Lake was an Australian TV comedian, singer, entertainer and actor. She started her career as a nightclub singer in the 1940s, meeting her future husband, entertainer Bobby Limb at this time. In the 1950s she worked in the UK on television and won a contract to sing with the BBC Show Band, and in Australia sang on 2UE and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio stations, frequently with Bobby Limb's band.
