Michael Dax McCarty (born April 30, 1987 in Winter Park, Florida) is an American soccer player, who currently plays for FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. McCarty played college soccer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2004-05. He appeared in 45 games in two years, scoring 4 goals and assisting on 11.
