Dean Marney (born 31 January 1984 in Barking) is an English footballer who currently plays for Hull City. Marney is an attacking midfielder and a product of the Tottenham Hotspur youth system. Although predominantly a box to box midfielder he showed an aptitude at right back and understudied then Spurs right back Stephen Carr and was viewed by many as the Irish International's natural successor.
