Dean Pees (born September 4, 1949 in Dunkirk, Ohio) is the current American football defensive coordinator for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. Pees was also a former head coach at Kent State University. Prior to the 2004 NFL season, Pees left Kent State for the Patriots, spending two years as the Patriots' linebackers coach. On January 17, 2006, Pees was promoted to defensive coordinator. Wikipedia
