Blurb: Dennis Wayne Archer (born January 1, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan) is a former president of the American Bar Association and former Mayor of Detroit. Prior to his election, Archer served as a justice on the Michigan Supreme Court from 1985 to 1993, as mayor of Detroit from 1994 to 2001. In his last year as a Michigan Supreme Court justice, he was named "most respected judge in Michigan" by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. | |
