Derek William Randall (b. 24 February 1951, Retford, Nottinghamshire) is a former cricketer who played first-class cricket for Nottinghamshire and England in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known to cricket fans as "Arkle" after the famous racehorse, but always "Rags" to himself, his impact as a batsman went far beyond what his career figures might suggest.
