Devern Brandon Hansack (born February 5, 1978 [as listed by the Red Sox, other sources have listed him as being born in 1980 and 1982] in Pearl Lagoon, Nicaragua) is a pitcher who currently plays in the Boston Red Sox organization. He bats and throws right-handed. Hansack originally signed with the Houston Astros as a non-drafted free agent on October 21, 1999.
