Dick Clay (born Richard Harold Clay on March 6, 1945 in Ferntree Gully, Victoria) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the VFL between 1966 and 1976 for the Richmond Football Club. Recruited from Kyabram, Victoria, Clay played as a full-forward, centre half-forward, wing (he and Francis Bourke were the first senior VFL players over 6 foot (183 cm) to play on the wing), and later as a defender.
