Diego Benaglio is a Swiss Italian football (soccer) player who currently plays as a goalkeeper for CD Nacional Madeira in the Portuguese Liga. He has dual citizenship. Benaglio started his career with his Grasshoppers Zürich and played there for several seasons before moving to Germany to join VfB Stuttgart. After a brief period there, he joined CD Nacional.
