Bede Evelyn Dominick Elwes (credited as Dominick Elwes, Dominic Elwes) (b. 17 August, 1931 - d. 1975) was an English portrait painter. Dominick Elwes is the son of well-known English portrait painter Simon Elwes (from the recusant Cary-Elwes family) and Gloria Rodd, daughter of Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell. At age 26, Dominick married 19-year-old Tessa Kennedy in Cuba, escaping an English court order against their marriage. Wikipedia
