Dorothy Macardle (1899 - 1958) was an Irish author and historian. Her book, "The Irish Republic", is one of the most frequently cited narrative accounts of the Anglo-Irish War and its aftermath. She is generally regarded as the definitive contemporary historian from the republican anti-treaty perspective.
