Doug Berry was hired as the head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Dec. 15, 2005. He became the 26th person to assume that role in the 76-year history of the football club, leading the team to a 9-9 record and a playoff berth in the East Division. Berry came to the Winnipeg Football Club with an outstanding football pedigree.
