He played for the New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, and San Francisco 49ers, and was picked in the 3rd round of the 1994 NFL Draft by San Francisco out of University of California, Berkeley.
