Jean Marie Faircloth (December 28, 1898 in Nashville, Tennessee - January 22, 2000), was a socialite and philanthropist. After attending Ward-Belmont College, Faircloth married MacArthur on April 30, 1937. They remained married until the general's death in 1964. She called him "Sir Boss". In her later years she often gave speeches on her late husband's military career. She died at the age of 101 of natural causes on January 22, 2000 in New York City. Wikipedia
