Dr. Brown is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology, and is engaged in diagnostic neuropathology (brain, nerve and muscle biopsies) as well as surgical pathology. His clinical research interests include neurooncology and ophthalmic pathology. Dr. Brown has a strong interest in the biophysical properties of proteins, especially the protein aggregation seen in many degenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. luhs.org
