Dr. Demeure is a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon who has been in academic surgical practice since 1991. He had maintained an active clinical and basic research program during this time focusing on the mechanisms of tumor metastases. Dr. Demeure went to medical school at Hahnemann University, and completed his surgical residency at the University of Arizona. His fellowship in endocrine surgery was in Perth, Australia and then at the University of California, San Francisco. tgen.org
