About E. Cabell Brand

E. Cabell Brand is Chairman of th e Cabell Brand Center for International Poverty and Resource Studies. Mr. Brand served on the Board of Directors of First Virginia Banks and was a member of the State Board of Health for nine years, serving as Chairman for three years. He founded Total Action Against Poverty in the Roanoke Valley and helped start programs for low income people such as Head Start, Virginia CARES, and the Virginia Water Project.
