Edward Hugh Sothern (6 December, 1859 - 28 October, 1933) was an American actor. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of English actor E. A. Sothern. Sothern's first appearance was onstage in New York City. His father had encouraged other pursuits other than acting, but Sothern had already caught the acting bug.
