Ed Courtenay (2 February 1968 -) is head coach for Northern Irish ice hockey team the Belfast Giants. He was born in Verdun, Quebec, and played junior hockey for the Granby Bisons. He played 44 NHL games, all with the San Jose Sharks. Ed Courtenay has the dubious honour of being the only player in the history of Ice Hockey to have been caught "off side" due to the size of his nose! Wikipedia
