Eddie Babcock Chief Scientist E ddie Babcock co-founded Vicinity Corporation following eight years of employment with Etak, Inc., serving as a senior engineer and project manager. While at Etak, he designed and built the first client/server mapping and geocoding system. Prior to Etak, he held technical positions at Hewlett-Packard, Atari, Entrepo, and Laserdrive.
