Edward Clarke Smith (October 24, 1864 - August 25, 1924), was mayor of Manchester, New Hampshire in 1911 and 1912. He was the son and grandson of previous Manchester mayors Isaac W. Smith and Hiram Brown, respectively. Smith was born in Manchester on October 24, 1864, the son of former Mayor Isaac W. Smith, who served as mayor in 1869 and Amanda (Brown) Smith. His mother was the son of former Mayor Hiram Brown, the first mayor of Manchester, who served from 1846-1847. Wikipedia
