Edward Lucas (born 1962) is a British journalist. Lucas works for "The Economist", the London-based global newsweekly. He has been covering eastern Europe since 1986, and was the Moscow bureau chief from 1998-2002. He is now the central and east European correspondent. He speaks English, German, Russian, Polish, Lithuanian and Czech. He was educated at Winchester College and the London School of Economics. Wikipedia
