Elizabeth Wilson (b. ca. 1762-d. 3 Jan 1786) became a figure in the folklore of southeastern Pennsylvania in the late Eighteenth and early Nineteenth Centuries. Elizabeth was hanged for the murder of her children, although many believed her to be innocent of those charges.
