Erlan Idrissov (born April 28 1959 in Karkaralinsk, Karaganda oblast, Kazakhstan) served as Foreign Minister in the Government of Kazakhstan from 1999-2002. Minister Idrissov met with Grigoris Niotis, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece, on 18 July 2001. In June 2002 his Foreign Ministership ended. He became the Kazakh ambassador to the United Kingdom.
