Eugene Noble Foss, (September 24, 1858-September 13, 1939) was a Representative and govenor from Massachusetts, as well as brother of George Edmund Foss. Born in West Berkshire, near St. Albans, Vermont, he attended the public schools, Franklin County Academy at St. Albans, Vermont, and the University of Vermont. He settled in Boston, Massachusetts in 1882 working in the manufacture of iron and steel. Wikipedia
