Evan Lurie (born 28 September 1954 in Worcester, Massachusetts) is an American composer and musician. He was a founding member of the band The Lounge Lizards, along with his brother John Lurie. He has composed music for films and TV programs, including the children's show "The Backyardigans", which features a different musical genre in every episode. Wikipedia
