Everett "Vic" Firth is a percussionist best known for founding the drum stick company, Vic Firth, bearing his name. He was a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra for over fifty years, most of them as principal timpanist. Vic Firth graduated from the New England Conservatory in Boston.
