John Foster Furcolo (July 29, 1911 - July 5, 1995) was born in New Haven, Connecticut. Before serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, from 1942 to 1946, he graduated from Yale University in 1933 and Yale Law School in 1936. In U.S. House election, 1948, he was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives, and served in Congress from January 3, 1949 to September 30, 1952. Wikipedia
