Frank Warren (born in Islington, London on 28 February, 1952) is an English boxing manager and promoter. Warren's first licensed show was held at the Bloomsbury Crest Hotel, in London in 1980 and he soon became a leading figure in British boxing. On 30 November, 1989 Frank Warren was shot outside the Broadway Theatre in Barking by an assailant who has never been brought to justice. A .22 bullet from a Luger pistol missed his heart by an inch.
