Dr. Schneider�s research focuses on construction of concurrent and distributed systems for high-integrity and mission-critical settings. Fault-tolerance and security are critical in such settings. Dr. Schneider also serves as Chief Scientist for TRUST (NSF Science and Technology Center: Team for Research in Ubiquitous Secure Technologies).
