Govindan Aravindan was a film director from Kerala, India. He was often credited as G. Aravindan.He was also a famous cartoonist. Aravindan directed films in Malayalam language. He won the National Film Award (Golden Lotus Award) for Best Direction in 1978, 1979 and 1987. His 1986 movie "Chidambaram" won the Award for Best Film. Wikipedia
