Gareth Williams is an American character actor. He is probably best known from his role as Mike Potter, a recurring character on the television drama "Dawson's Creek". He played astronaut James Irwin in the HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon", and was in such films as "Malcolm X, Volcano", and "The Cell".
