Gary L. Cate was born and reared in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He grew up in the Tulsa Baptist Temple under the ministry of Clifford E. Clark. Pastor Cate graduated from Will Rogers High School. He then attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, Minnesota and Central Baptist Seminary in Minneapolis. Graduating first in his class from both schools, he received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity respectively. cbt.churchserve
