Gemma Merna (born 1984 in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England) is an English actress who currently plays Carmel McQueen in British Channel 4 series Hollyoaks, which is her first major TV role. She joined the cast in the Summer of 2006 and won "Best Comedy Performance" for her role in the 2007 British Soap Awards.
