Gerard Kearns is a British actor best known for his role as Ian Gallagher in the Channel 4 television series "Shameless". He is currently filming the fifth series. Gerard stars in a new film for Film4 Productions, "The Mark of Cain", based on British soldiers' abuse of Iraqi prisoners. It premièred at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in February 2007.
