Ghida Fakhry is the Washington, D.C. co-anchor for Al Jazeera English. In April 2006 Fakhry, who was born in Beirut, became co-anchor for the Washington, D.C. broadcast of Al Jazeera International's English language television news program (Al-Jazeera English TV news broadcasts daily from three separate news bureaus: Washington, D.C., London, and Kuala Lumpur).
