Gillie Da Kid, the self proclaimed "King of Philly", is a rapper from the Erie Avenue area of North Philadelphia. He is one of the founding members of the rap group Major Figgas and has had solo deals with Suave House Records and Cash Money Records. He has appeared on the Eightball & MJG song Armed Robbery alongside rappers Thorough, Toni Hickman, and Big Duke; and has also recorded with Ice Cube.
