Gladys Ravenscroft was a British golf champion. Born in Cheshire, England Gladys Ravenscroft won the British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship at Turnberry, Scotland. In 1913 she traveled to Wilmington, Delaware to compete in the United States Women's Amateur Golf Championship. She defeated Marion Hollins in the finals, making her only the second competitor to simultaneously hold both the American and British titles. Wikipedia
