Born in Muskogee, OK and raised in Stigler as a child and then moved to McAlester during his high school years. He was a Music Ed. major at East Central OK ST. U. and then finished his formal education in Texas. During the time at East Central Greg marched with the Hutchinson Sky Ryders Drum Corps in Kansas from 1980-1982 as a lead soprano. He now owns SEO Metro, a search engine optimization company in Dallas, TX.
